Boswell's Coast is the sequel to Patrick's Jarrolds Book award winning 'Boswell's Norwich'. After a years work painting amongst the historic streets of Norwich, Patrick has returned to where his heart truly lies, the Norfolk and Suffolk coastline of East Anglia.


The book is printed in full colour and measures 223 x 245mm in
landscape format and contains 160 pages. The volume is sewn

A professional artist for over 20 years, Patrick is perhaps best known for his figurative coastal beach scenes. In this book he takes a charming journey of discovery along the ever changing coastline, beginning at Aldeburgh in suffolk, painting the coastline until he reaches Kings Lynn in Norfolk. Along the way he has set up his easel in little known villages and isolated beaches, all in all producing 84 oil paintings and over 40 drawings.

Following Patrick's pictorial record, you can see how he was inspired by dramatic skies, low and high tides, wildlife, and the inquisitive nature and hospitality of the locals. and holiday makers he met along the way. We can read his thoughts and observations in his diary recalling childhood memories, and how he retraced the footsteps of artists gone by who have painted there before him.
