Patrick Boswell - Artist

Patrick's oil paintings are inspired by light and colour and reflect the ever changing mood of North Norfolk. Beach and yachting scenes painted with gusto together with an attention to detail that says this is a man who knows his subject.

Evocative of British impressionist painting, he is at his best in capturing figurative events and at the very least should be described as a powerful tonal painter.

Other subjects include seascapes, coastal and beach landscapes, Broadland sailing scenes, dinghy sailing and studio interiors as well as local and International landscapes.

He is a National Prizewinner of the Laing Art competition.

Patrick's Studio in Norfolk can be visited by appointment, where a selection of his work is always available for purchase.
